Don't miss this talented singer on his repeat appearance at Jazz Vespers! Don will be accompanied by the Ron Johnston Trio.

Read what Lind Vogt Turner wrote about Don Stewart:

"Don Stewart’s knowledge of Black History started in his childhood. Don grew up, the son of a black Pentecostal Preacher in Amherstburg Ontario. Amherstburg was the last stop of the Underground Railway. His relatives and friends had lots of history. Don’s Mother encouraged him to sing and music is his passion. But, Don put music on hold for a time to study acting. Acting taught him to dig deep into the history of the characters he was playing as well as his own life experience. This gave him the magic as if—as if it really happened to him—especially playing such legendary characters as Crooks in the play Mice and Men, Joe in the stage musical Showboat, and Nat in the stage play An Evening with Nat King Cole. Don also choreographed and played Nat in his own musical production Unforgettable. Presently, Don’s focus is music, and his soulful music speaks to audiences today."
