Dr. Annabelle Paetsch took her degrees in Canada at the University of Saskatchewan (B. Music in Music Education), then went to Europe on a Saskatchewan Arts Board Grant. While in Europe, she had the unique opportunity to work with one of the conductors of the Vienna Boys Choir. Upon returning to Canada, she embarked on a M. Music (while working as a Teaching Assistant), and a PhD from the University of Western Ontario. These programs included courses in choir direction. She studied with well known Canadian organist, Hugh McLean, and virtually "learned by doing" working with many excellent conductors as an accompanist.
